USASA APPALACHIAN SERIES

The challenge of competing and learning respect for others all while having fun, is the real mission for us. All athletes must wear a helmet at all practices and competitions. The Southeastern Series claimed two national champions, both in boardercross. One Practice per week required. Comp athletes are actively competing in one or more of the events listed above. Open to skiers and snowboarders ages who can navigate safely on intermediate and advanced terrain. Freeride Comp Team members must be able to safely negotiate advanced slopes including terrain parks. Junior racers in a team environment will improve racing abilities and progress to higher skill and competitive levels. Additionally, seriess promote understanding and respect for safety factors inherent in the sport.
